Ralph strings a necklace with recycled paper beads that he and other children create at his orphanage. The jewelry helps raise funds for water and food at their home in Port-au-Prince.
Ralph and his brother Kensley were the first students in Zanmi Lakay’s School Sponsorship Program. Their mother left them at an abandoned building in 2008 where they lived with homeless families, and since the earthquake have relocated with other young children to the orphanage.
